TDE COMPANY PROFILE

TDE Kft. was founded in 1990 by private individuals in an Austrian-Hungarian joint venture, as an engineering and consulting company registered in Budapest. Our principal area of operation is the energy and hydrocarbon sector. Over the years, the Hungarian partners gradually bought out the Austrian stake, so that the company today is fully Hungarian-owned.

TDE's activities center on providing services for hydrocarbon exploration and production in any given project phase. These services comprise planning, licensing and permitting (exploration and other license applications, technical operation plans, drilling permits, indemnification reports, recultivation, studies, technical instructions) as well as implementation all the way to turn-key delivery (on-site operation). Our clients have included every one of the petroleum exploration companies active in Hungary. The service partners we work with, both domestic and foreign, are internationally recognized contractors.

Through our service affiliate, established jointly with a German partner and specialized in testing and process control, we adopt the latest Hungarian and foreign-made parts and products to a variety of operational and maintenance environments in Hungary. In addition to these core activities, we have a solid experience in running diverse projects beyond national borders, including conference hosting and pipeline rehabilitation.

Predominantly for foreign companies, we also offer a full range of administrative services, from the initial groundwork (appearance, incorporation and registration in Hungary, accounting and legal advice, professional consulting, appointment of independent experts) to the more complex service management tasks of exploration and production proper.

TDE has distinguished itself in the areas of drilling hydrocarbon exploratory and production wells, designing surface and downhole equipment, performing pipeline rehabilitation, and sourcing compressor stations. Our logistic services, always integrated with the technology at hand, sensibly include shipping and customs administration. From investment consulting to operation and maintenance, we contract for each of these tasks separately or in a comprehensive service agreement-primarily in Hungary, but in other countries as well.
